About Us
Roger commenced his career in 1987 when he joined Arthur Andersen in the insolvency division. He gained a depth of experience working through the recession of the early 1990s across many different industries and various forms of insolvency administrations. From night clubs to supermarkets, pubs, farmers, construction companies and building industry related businesses, the 1990s were an interesting time work in the insolvency space.
After leaving Arthur Andersen in 1994, Roger worked for two smaller specialist insolvency firms, the last being Dye & Co. Pty Ltd in which he was a partner for 14 years until 30 June 2019.
During that time period he focussed on consulting to distressed SMEs with a view to preserving businesses where possible.
It is this experience that places him in a position to promptly identify causes of financial distress and develop appropriate strategies to deal with them.
In addition, Roger has throughout his career performed numerous members voluntary liquidation appointments including providing advice to external accountants and boards of directors. Roger is also a member of the Australian Restructuring Insolvency and Turnaround Association and Insol International. These organisations are highly regarded and provide insolvency practitioners with technical support and advocacy for the industry.
When Roger isn’t working, he can be found down at the surf beach fishing, swinging a golf club or chasing down a tennis ball.
